The Nethernet IRC Network is built on a distributed infrastructure consisting of multiple stable and carefully managed servers, designed to provide reliability, performance, and network resilience.
For security and abuse-prevention reasons, individual server hostnames are not publicly disclosed.
Additionally, the IRC command /MAP is disabled across the network to prevent network mapping and targeted attacks.
These measures help ensure:
- Network stability and availability
- Protection against abuse and automated scanning
- Increased operational security for users and servers
